Dorothy Hafner is widely acclaimed ceramacist and sculptor with many works exhibited internationally. Her most renowned pieces are owned by the Corning Museum of Glass, the American Craft Museum, the Smithsonian Institution, and the Victoria and Albert Museum.
'The Colorways Series' was a collaborative body of work designed by Hafner Studios and hand blown by Italian glass master Ligno Tagliapietra. The collection was originally presented by Heller Gallery in Chelsea, NYC with a signature piece acquired by The Corning Museum of Glass, also featured on the cover of 'A Decade of Collecting', by David Whitehouse.
With the success of 'The Colorways Series' Hafner Studios also manufactured a limited production line of fused glass platters with hand cut pattern. Gina Fothergill asissted in the production of these projects.
