​About The Project:

This family of 4 occupies a 2000+ sq ft colonial situated in Tewksbury, NJ on 1 acre of land, surrounded by lush nature. Our client has a sophisticated eye for design, and a home filled with works of art and one-of-a-kind objects.  There are traditional elements mixed with postmodern, all the while blending so perfectly. The space feels both alluring and intelligent, yet colorful and enchanting.  They would like to put the final touch on their space with a gut renovation to the main level bathroom, which presently feels small and outdated. The bathroom is adjacent to the kitchen, living room and master bedroom.  

The Vision:

Our client would like to expand the current bathroom by taking some space from the adjacent bedroom. They would like to reconfigure the layout by adding a freestanding bathtub under the window, and an open shower with a linear drain next to the bathtub. They would like brass fixtures to tie in with those in the kitchen for a continuous look. For tile, they like soft shades of sea glass blues, with powdery grey stone accents. They also like the idea of a floating mid-century style vanity in warm walnut for a modern feel. They would like the space to feel neutral, calm and harmonious with nature, yet durable and high performance.
